HESTAS

I’m Hester, founder of HESTAS in Delft. In my studio, I give used materials like banners and flags a second life as unique, handmade products. I’m inspired by reuse, collaboration, and the idea that what seems like waste can be the beginning of something new.

My Creative Process

"At HESTAS, I collect used banners and sails, clean and select the material. I design patterns, cut the pieces, and sew everything in our Delft studio into unique bags. I often collaborate with companies and organizations to reuse their materials."
