Noam Hen Illustration

Hi! My name is Noam Hen, I’m an illustrator based in the Netherlands. My practice moves between comics, lino-cut printing and sculpture, often allowing these forms to inform and overlap with one another.
Drawing, for me, is a way to tell a story while including small, often hidden details. As a newcomer in the Netherlands, my work often circles around the idea of home: what it means, how it shifts, and how it’s shaped by the environments we live in.

My Creative Process

"All my work begins with research, collecting stories and observations. I work with pencil, watercolor, and gouache to develop images.
For lino prints, I carve each design by hand and print them individually, embracing small variations in ink and texture. The process is slow and physical, from carving to inking to pressing.
