I'm Ruby Fontyn, an illustrator and graphic designer based in the Netherlands.

I create colorful, story-driven illustrations that lean into mood, character, and a touch of cheekiness. Inspired by everyday life, friendships, people-watching, and personal experiences, my work explores the moments, feelings, and details that make people who they are.

My Creative Process

"A lot of my process happens before I start drawing. I gather inspiration through visual research, personal experiences, conversations, and observing everyday life.

Once I have an idea, I sketch, refine, color, and build the atmosphere of the image through lighting, texture, and story details before preparing it for print."
