TIME SPENT
it take me about half an hour to create a letter, fine tune the edges and add a base layer of glaze and then splatter with different colours over the base layer
MATERIALS
I use high quality small chamotten clay in grey for the letters and powdered glazes from De Cock in Rotterdam that I mix and apply myself to discover new interactions between the glazes. I used (specialty) brushes to glaze.
COSTS
costs include clay, an extensive set of glazes and pigments of 120 euros and firing the letters two to three times. The costs of firing include renting an oven.
