PINE TREES - ORIGINAL CYANOTYPE| Angela Alice Becker
These original cyanotypes are created from an analogue photograph of pine trees, taken in Portugal with my analogue camera.
The photograph was printed onto transparency film, which I then used as a negative to create each cyanotype by hand.
The artwork is available in A4 and 30 × 40 cm.
Each cyanotype is an original, so slight variations and imperfections are part of the process. These small differences make every piece unique.
Dimensions: A4
Send time: 1-7 days
TIME SPENT
It takes approximately one hour to prepare the negative and have it printed, followed by around 30 minutes to create each individual cyanotype, although the process can be unpredictable and not every print is successful.
MATERIALS
To create the original artwork, I use an analogue camera and film, watercolour paper, cyanotype solution, transparency film for the negative, digital software, and natural sunlight to expose the cyanotype.
COSTS
Production costs include an analogue camera film and film development, watercolour paper, professional printing services, cyanotype solution, and digital software used to prepare the negatives.
