Lovely soft pink fading to yellow ceramic vase. Hand carved with sun and lotus motive. This one gently brightens up your room. Beautiful on its own or with flowers. The piece is fired to stoneware temperature (1240) which makes it water tight and dishwasher safe.

TIME SPENT
The time spent is half an hour throwing and trimming, an hour coloring and carving. A lot of time in between stages, waiting for the piece to be the right state of dryness and firing it twice (about 8 hours in the kiln and 12 hours cooling)
MATERIALS
I use a potters wheel, a ceramics oven, engobes, underglazes and glazes and some tools to trim and carve.
COSTS
clay about €10 for 10 kilogram, two underglazes €5 per colour, one glaze on the inside to make it usable, a second hand potters wheel and kiln around €1500 buying and maintenance and electricity around €10 per firing.
