TIME SPENT
A true test of patience with this green mandala, where a cluster of tiny glass pieces in the center and outer border had a stubborn habit of shooting right out of my hands while grinding. It took me about six hours to make this stained glass mandala.
MATERIALS
I bring each design to life using glass, glass cutters, a grinding machine, copper foil, a soldering iron, patina, and a matching chain.
COSTS
Bringing these mandalas to life requires a specialized toolkit. To even begin this journey, I made an initial investment of €267.40 in essential stained glass equipment. From my glass cutter to the grinder, soldering iron and everything in between. Each piece I create helps sustain this craft, with the final price reflecting a share of those studio tools alongside the specific glass, copper foil, solder, and chain chosen for the unique size and design.
