I'm Irina Rammos, a Greek-Dutch artist based in The Hague. With a background in geology, I've always been fascinated by the natural world, from the landscapes beneath our feet to the creatures that inhabit them. I see the world through a colourful, slightly dreamy lens, finding inspiration in wildlife, nature and the wonderfully unpredictable personalities of cats. Through expressive colours and impressionist touches, I bring these little moments of magic to life.

My Creative Process

"For landscapes, I photograph nature from different angles, then sketch and create colour studies before applying Mungyo oil pastels and Winsor & Newton watercolour using wax resist. For animal art, I combine reference photos, do a colour study to plan colours and sketch on Pastelmat before adding Mungyo and Sennelier oil pastel colours."
