My love for ceramics began with my aunt. She was a ceramicist, and I always loved watching her work and spending time in her studio. After an unsuccessful pottery wheel course (the wheel just isn’t my thing), I quickly switched to hand-building—and that’s when everything fell into place. Kneading clay is one of the few things in life that brings me into a meditative state, and I feel that my work reflects that. Glazing, in turn, forces me to let go, something I’ve learned to appreciate and love.
