Hi! I’m Lotte, the maker behind Studio Sunstream. With my background in photography, I’ve always had a deep passion for light and contrast. A lifelong fascination with how light interacts with its surroundings. Stained glass allows me to capture and shape that light in a tangible way. By combining the geometric harmony of mandalas with the vibrant colours of glass, I create art that breathes life and warmth into your home.

My Creative Process

"It begins with a sketch on paper to create the pattern. Next, I select glass for its unique color and texture, then hand-cut and grind each piece for a perfect fit.

Each piece is wrapped in copper foil to allow the solder to adhere. I then solder the pieces together and apply a black patina to the lines for a classic, high-contrast look. Finally, the mandala is cleaned, polished, and fitted with a sturdy chain, ready to catch the light in your window."
