Colorful Monstera Painting on Wood| Andrea van den Berg
A botanical painting with natural colors to brighten up your interior and make you imagine yourself living in a jungle!
This is from the 'a piece of the wall' Jungle series – after creating the 'Jungle' mural in Leidschendam, I made 3 more paintings in the same style. So that people can bring a piece of the wall into their home!

TIME SPENT
This occupied my evenings for two weeks – I paid particular attention to ensuring the colors were in calm balance with each other, but still really popped.
MATERIALS
It is painted on birch plywood, salvaged from a furniture maker in Delft. This beautiful piece would otherwise be burned! By doing so, you help advance sustainability. The paint is Histor wall paint. It can take a knock; you can simply wipe it down with water if you spill something.
COSTS
This is difficult to say, since I use large cans of paint that last for years and good quality brushes that also last for years.
