Oranges in Net| Janneke Embroidery

🍊This is my second fruit-in-a-net embroidery piece. oranges this time!

For this one, I played with watercolours on the background fabric to create a bit of depth and shadow. It's slightly bigger than the tiny sack of lemons I embroidered over a year ago, stitched in a 13.5 cm hoop this time.

I really love the brightness of this piece. It's such a nice contrast to the earthy tones I usually work with in my animal embroideries, and it was fun to bring a little more colour into my stitching.
