Luckily, Ragdoll cats aren’t known for their hunting prowess, so this piece is mostly based on fiction.

Aside from a few moths and flies, my cats have never caught any prey I had to bury.

My parents’ cat, however, is another story. I know that terror all too well, the change in pace when they come home with yet another victim. You could hear it in the way they proudly walked toward the cat flap.

This is my second piece depicting that scene. I really love how this one came together. It was a pleasure to work on, almost three pieces in one: the jeans and shoes, the cat, and the dead bird. I was truly never bored.
