Welcome to The Artist Survives!

Because our platform supports independent artists, each item is often unique or made-to-order. Our refund policy is designed to support these creators while ensuring a fair experience for our customers.


1. Return window

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Once your return is approved, you have an additional 7 days to ship the item back to the Vendor.


2. Eligibility and condition

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn and unused, with tags if applicable and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

 

3. Non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized goods: items made to your specific requirements or featuring custom artwork.

  • Final sale items: any item marked ‘final sale’ at the time of purchase

  • Digital Products: downloadable art, assets or gift cards

  • Perishable or hygiene goods: items such as earrings or beauty products


4. The return process

As a multivendor marketplace, returns are shipped directly back to the Vendor, not to The Artist Survives.

  • Initiate: Contact the vendor via your account portal with your order number and the reason for return.

  • Approval: If accepted, you will be provided with the Vendor’s return shipping address and instructions.

  • Shipment: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  • Costs: unless the item is defective or damaged, customers are responsible for paying their own return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee the Vendor will receive your returned item. We recommend an insured shipping service for fragile or expensive items, as we cannot guarantee the Vendor will receive your returned item undamaged. 


5. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. You must contact the Vendor within 48 hours of delivery if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. You must provide clear photos of the damaged item and the original packaging to qualify for Vendor-funded replacement or refund. 

6. Refunds

Once the vendor receives and inspected your return, they will notify us of the status. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
