Zittart

Every sculpture tells its own story. From paper, cardboard and other recycled materials I make humorous sculptures that bring a smile. I believe art can surprise, connect and show that beauty often comes from what others overlook.

Mijn Creatieve Proces

"Every piece starts with an idea, usually a small character or animal with a bit of humor in it. I build each sculpture by hand in layers of papier, paper, cardboard, newsprint and pages from old books. Some pieces get a base made from a slice of wood or upcycledparts related to the figurines. Once the shape is dry, I paint it by hand. I am not using any molds or 3d printing."
